I’ve worked for FemiliPNG Australia (formerly known as Friends of Femili PNG) since 2020. FPNGA is a non-profit that supports Femili PNG to assist survivors of violence in Papua New Guinea.
I began as an Information Systems Officer, but progressed into the organisation’s Information Systems Manager.
In this role I was the organisation’s technology lead, responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing solutions to improve the capacity of the organisation. This included migrating the organisation to Microsoft 365, managing a £2,700 pound Azure budget, developing a Power Apps based CRM, and setting up Power BI to enable insights into the organisation’s data.
This role has been incredibly rewarding and educational. I’ve learnt so much from being a part of the FemiliPNG Australia team and getting to spearhead such important and impactful projects.
Information Systems Manager
2022 – 2023
- Successfully proposed, developed, and implemented a CRM using Model Driven Power Apps that efficiently manages and reports on the outcomes of 6,000+ clients.
- Spearheaded the implementation of a robust data analysis system using Power BI, and Azure Data Factory.
- Trained staff and developed detailed documentation on the Power Platform and Power BI.
- Effectively managed the £2,700 pound Azure Cloud budget, optimising resource allocation to best meet the organisations need.
- Led data wrangling, analysis and mining for the organisation and key funding bodies.
- Orchestrated the website redevelopment, by collaborating with stakeholders and external developers.
- Provided IT support at level two and three for staff across the organisation in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
